What to Expect During Your First Fertility Consultation

What to Expect During Your First Fertility Consultation

If you're struggling to conceive, it's important to find a qualified fertility specialist who can help you explore your options. At Reproductive Fertility Center, our team of experts has over 20 years of experience and has helped create over 10,000 babies. Our double-board certified doctor, Dr. Peyman Saadat, is committed to providing personalized care to each patient.

In this blog post, we'll walk you through what you can expect during your first fertility consultation with us.

Preparing for Your Fertility Consultation

During your first visit to our fertility clinic, you'll meet with one of our experienced fertility doctors who will review your medical history and discuss any concerns or questions you may have. This initial consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us.

Medical History Review

To better understand your fertility journey, we will ask you about your medical history, including any prior pregnancies, surgeries, and current medications. We will also ask about your menstrual cycle, including the length of your cycle and any symptoms you experience.

Physical Exam

During your first fertility consultation, a physical exam may be conducted to help diagnose any underlying medical conditions. The exam will typically include a pelvic exam to check for any abnormalities or irregularities.

Diagnostic Testing

To help diagnose any fertility issues, we may recommend a variety of diagnostic tests, such as blood work or a semen analysis. For women, we may recommend an ultrasound to check for any structural abnormalities or issues with the reproductive organs.

Determining Fertility Treatment Options

Based on the results of your medical history review, physical exam, and diagnostic testing, we will discuss your fertility treatment options. At Reproductive Fertility Center, we offer a range of fertility services, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and other fertility services.

Reviewing Fertility Financing Options

We understand that fertility treatment can be expensive, which is why we offer a range of fertility financing options to make treatment more accessible. During your first fertility consultation, we will go over these options with you and help you find a financing plan that works for you.
